In accessing and using the REALCO website, you accept the terms of these conditions of use without restriction or reservation.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable or contrary to mandatory law, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

Use of the website – Intellectual property rights

The user expressly acknowledges that the presentation, content and all information and data contained on the Realco site are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights and remain the property of Realco and its information providers.

The presentation, reproduction, distribution, sale, publication, modification and any use for commercial purposes of all or part of the Realco site and its contents are prohibited without prior written permission from Realco. It is also forbidden to store this information electronically, with the exception of the automatic storage of information in the ‘hidden’ memory of the browser, or to use it for illegal purposes.

The user shall not use the Realco site in a manner that is contrary to good morals, that causes damage to third parties or that damages the image of Realco, in particular by inserting incorrect or insulting information.

Information

The information is provided to the user in its ‘raw’ form without any explicit or implicit guarantee and is part of a free service offered to the public. The information is taken from sources that are as reliable as possible and is subject to reasonable analysis.

Realco will endeavour to correct any errors that are brought to its attention. Realco and its information providers do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, appropriateness or timeliness of the information. Realco shall not be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided by Realco or by third parties and made available to the user on the Realco website.

Realco cannot be held responsible for decisions or actions taken by the user on the basis of the information or data provided.

Realco can therefore not be held liable for errors or omissions, either towards the user or towards third parties, for any direct, indirect or incidental damage, for any loss of profit, loss of opportunity or for any other damage caused by its negligence or omissions in the provision, collection, presentation, drafting, interpretation, mentioning and dissemination of information or data by means of these services, even if Realco has been warned of the possibility of the occurrence of such damage.

Limits of liability

Realco and its information providers cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from viruses of any kind, bugs, or any programme or application that is incompatible with the infrastructure used by the user, nor for damage suffered by the user as a result of a breakdown, interruption or error, evolution, repair, check, maintenance, technical problem, interruption of the telephone network or related networks or services, overload, negligence or fault of a third party or of the user, as well as in case of events beyond the control of Realco.

The above-mentioned circumstances shall not give rise to any financial compensation. The user acknowledges that Realco has the right to suspend, at any time, the availability of the website for maintenance and updating reasons.

Hyperlinks

The Realco website includes links to other websites that may be of interest to the user. Any link is provided for information purposes only and Realco provides no guarantee whatsoever regarding any other website that the user may access through its site.

The presence of a link to another website does not in any way mean that Realco endorses the content of that website or accepts any responsibility for the content or use of the information contained in that other website.

In addition, the user is responsible for taking precautions to ensure that whatever he or she selects and uses is free of such items as viruses and similar items of a destructive nature.

Updating

Realco may modify the information contained on its portal site at any time without prior notice.

Specific mention

Specific mention for the presentation of Realco products and services with mention of prices: the user expressly acknowledges that the information on Realco products and services may contain gaps or inaccuracies (in particular as a result of typographical errors) or contain references to products that are no longer available.

The ordering of a service or product via the Realco website is subject to the general terms and conditions of the sales or rental agreement in force at Realco.

Respect for privacy

In accordance with the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy, any person or company that communicates information via the Realco site can notify Realco that they do not want this information to be used for direct marketing purposes.

The purpose of this paragraph is to describe the management of personal data by our company Realco.

Realco takes data protection very seriously. You can trust us to respect your privacy and the security of your personal information. All personal data will be processed by our company in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation – the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

Your personal information is collected and stored for the sole purpose of managing our collaboration. This data is stored on our own secure servers, installed in our premises in Belgium, as well as on an external backup system installed in a data centre in Belgium, and we take all adequate and reasonable security measures to prevent any unauthorised access, loss, modification or leakage of your personal data.

This data is only accessible to authorised personnel and is not shared with third parties unless (1) it is necessary for the provision of the service, (2) we have duly requested and received your express consent to do so or (3) it is required by law. No personal data will be transferred outside the European Union.

Realco uses the personal information it has collected for the sole purpose of communications relating to the provision of its services. In this case, Realco treats personal information with the utmost care so as not to infringe your rights. If you do not wish to receive such information, please notify us so that we can immediately stop providing it.

Realco undertakes to inform you personally and the competent authorities within 72 hours of becoming aware of any actual or suspected breach of security, unauthorised access, misappropriation, loss, damage or other breach of the security, confidentiality or integrity of personal data, unless such data is encrypted. If, despite all our precautions, such an event should occur, we will take all necessary measures to prevent any further security incidents and to provide full and prompt cooperation and assistance.

Your personal information will be kept for the duration of our collaboration and for as long as required by legal, fiscal and/or social obligations. Contact details of potential customers shall be kept until the end of the following calendar year. The details of potential suppliers will be kept until the end of the fifth calendar year following initial registration.

Customers and suppliers, both active and potential, may request a copy of their personal data at any time by email to privacy@realco.be. You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing and object to the processing of personal data and to data portability.

We will promptly update or delete your personal data upon request if the legal retention period has elapsed. In such a situation and/or if you have any questions regarding Realco’s privacy policy, please contact us at privacy@realco.be.

Realco may revise and improve this privacy policy at any time, in which case we will update the version reference. The latest version will always be available online at www.realco.be/1

Realco’s competitions

Information submitted by users in the context of participation in one of Realco’s competitions may be used by Realco and its affiliates for marketing purposes.

Only the contact details of the winners may be passed on to the company collaborating in the competition in the event that the company wishes to send the prizes itself.

Listing of a professional website on the Realco portal

Commercial companies that are not Realco customers may request to be included in the Realco database. The acceptance or non-acceptance of site references and the choice of its classification in a category remain the sole responsibility of Realco, which will never have to justify its decision in this respect.

Realco also declines all responsibility for the content of the sites included in its database. Realco reserves the right to use all or part of its database (customers and non-customers) for commercial or promotional purposes without having to request prior authorisation.

The registration of a site on the Realco portal implies the acceptance of these conditions.
