Green chemistry
HOW WE SEE IT
In order to design high-performance hygiene solutions with the least environmental impact, we formulate by re-analysing all the parameters of the chemical reactions that take place around our products. We review and scrutinise every step of the process of extracting and transforming raw materials into formulated products, not forgetting how they are used.
Our products are the result of a holistic approach that takes four parameters into account. (hover to find out more)
GIVING PRIORITY TO THE USE OF
Renewable raw materials
In order to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and our carbon footprint, we prefer to use plant-based resources for formulation. This avoids the depletion of fossil carbon and helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
REDUCE OUR
Energy requirements
Chemical processes
Selecting components that can be extracted, synthesised and formulated at low temperatures and under low pressure conditions.
Cleaning
Optimise our formulae for equal or greater efficiency at low temperatures, with less water consumption.
REDUCE WASTE
Through the rigorous selection of product components, we gradually incorporate circularity into our formulae.
QUANTITY
Utilising the physical and chemical properties of biobased products
Thanks to the enzyme, we are reducing the quantity of active agents in our solutions while maintaining superior cleaning performance.
QUALITY
Sustainable sourcing
All plant-based ingredients in our ECOCERT-certified products are sustainably produced and extracted. For example, the coconut used in the manufacture of our surfactants comes from RSPO suppliers.
